Paul (born 2009 in Stadthagen) is a true bird lover.
His grandfather awakened Paul's interest in nature at a very early age. During long hikes through the barren pine forests of Lower Lusatia, he explained to him which native bird species there were and how to distinguish them.
In 2020, Paul, armed with his father's camera, decided to set out to photograph birds. On his own.
He explored forests, lakes, and fields from the Baltic Sea to the Alps and the Schaumburg region, always with his camera.
Fascinating images of our native birds were captured: sometimes sharp and objective, sometimes playful and emotional.
Paul has now published his 12 + 1 favorite pictures of the last year in his 4th photo calendar, "Our Birds 2025."
